Hateful Embrace

I stare deeply into pools of deep brown,
Trying to read them for any clue
I know you’re Kira.  
I just can’t prove it…
Or rather, perhaps I do not want to believe.

Suddenly, my thoughts evade me
as I sense impending doom.
My heart stops beating as I fall
With no one to catch me

I feel arms tightly embrace me
Though, there is no compassion in them
